Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb Ambedkar, was born on 14 April 1891 in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. He was an Indian jurist, economist, social reformer, and political leader who dedicated his life to promoting equality, education, and social justice. He played a key role in drafting the Constitution of India and served as the country’s first Law and Justice Minister after Independence. Dr. Ambedkar earned higher education from prestigious institutions, including Columbia University in the United States and the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom. Through his work, writings, and leadership, he fought against social discrimination and encouraged people to embrace education and constitutional values. His vision and ideas continue to inspire millions across India and around the world.
