Kohli edits tweet on Dhoni’s knock vs DC

From ‘greatest finisher’ to ‘greatest finisher ever’:

RCB skipper Virat Kohli deleted his tweet within minutes and added ‘the greatest finisher ever’ to his tweet hailing Dhoni’s 18 off six deliveries against Delhi Capitals.

After Mahendra Singh Dhoni did what Mahendra Singh Dhoni does, i.e. finish a match off in the most explosive way possible, his Royal Challengers counterpart Virat Kohli took to Twitter to congratulate CSK’s beloved Thala.

Tagging MSD in a post, the outgoing RCB and India captain Kohli said. “Anddddd the king is back, the greatest finisher ever in the game. Made me jump Outta my seat once again tonight.”

Interestingly, Kohli deleted his first tweet calling Dhoni “the greatest finisher of the game” and added “the greatest finisher ever” to his post.

Dhoni will be the mentor of the Indian team when they take the field for the T20 World Cup in Dubai later this month.

Kohli revealed that Dhoni’s impressive knock made him jump out of his seat. “Anddddd the king is back the greatest finisher ever in the game. Made me jump Outta my seat once again tonight.@msdhoni,”.

Kohli tweeted after CSK defeated DC to secure their berth for the IPL 2021 final at Dubai. Kohli’s special tweet for former Team India captain Dhoni soon became the talk of the town on social media.
