A. P. J. Abdul Kalam was one of India’s most respected scientists and leaders. He played a major role in developing India’s missile and space programmes. Because of his achievements, people proudly called him the “Missile Man of India.” Born on October 15, 1931, in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, Kalam came from a humble family and achieved success through hard work and dedication.

He served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007 and inspired millions of students with his speeches and books. Kalam strongly believed in education, innovation, and dreaming big in life. His famous books, including Wings of Fire and Ignited Minds, continue motivating young people across the country. He always encouraged students to work honestly and contribute to India’s progress. Dr Abdul Kalam passed away on July 27, 2015, while delivering a lecture in Shillong. Even today, people remember him for his simplicity, wisdom, and inspiring vision for India’s future.
